Ruf Automobile, known for building iconic vehicles such as the CTR Yellowbird, has established a permanent presence in North America, specifically in South Florida at the Concours Club.
The announcement was made during the Flat Six Fest in Miami by Alois Ruf Jr. The Concours Club, a destination for wealthy car enthusiasts located close to the Miami Opa-Locka Executive Airport, will now be home to the historic Bavarian automaker.
According to Ruf North America President Victor Gomez IV, the brand is synonymous with engineering excellence, passion, authenticity, and the joy of driving. He also states that setting up a base of operations in a prominent location like Miami, at an exclusive destination like The Concours Club, is ideal for the company.
As part of the new setup, Ruf Automobile will have access to the Concours Club's amenities, which include a track with a 2,100-foot front straightaway, a 46-foot wide driving surface, and digital telemetry for on-track data. Recently, Ruf also released a documentary that delves into the brand's 80-year history and showcases the iconic CTR's record-breaking 213-mph speed run. Watch it now!
