Porsche Vision Gran Turismo Has Been Unveiled

Porsche has presented the Vision Gran Turismo, a virtual racing car built for Gran Turismo 7 that will be launched by Polyphony Digital on March 4 2022 for both the PS4 and PS5. In contrast to Porsche's digital-only concept, the business has produced an actual prototype and suggested that its design will be used in future electric sportscars.
This is the first time Porsche has built a car just for the game, following in the footsteps of Mercedes, McLaren, Lamborghini, and Jaguar. Porsche's interpretation has all of the design excitement you'd want from a virtual race vehicle, but it's done more gently, as it's also meant to be a teaser for future electric versions.
As a result of the absence of an internal combustion engine, the Porsche Vision GT has unusually extreme dimensions that suggest mid-engine supercars. The roughness of the bulging fenders and the strongly sculpted bodywork quickly identify the concept car as a Porsche. It's much like the Mission R, but much more dramatic.
Porsche Vision Gran Turismo also uses design elements from current production models, such as the four-part LED graphics on the low-mounted headlamps and the full-width LED taillight beneath the dynamic rear spoiler that also serves as an air brake. The two-seater cockpit has a low seating position, a yoke-shaped steering wheel, a slim central console, vegan-only upholstery, and a clear instrument cluster with a head-up display.
Starting in March 2022, anybody with a PS4 or PS5 console will be able to drive the Porsche Vision Gran Turismo concept automobile as part of the Gran Turismo 7 video game.
