Officials from Hennessey Performance have announced that the first of 24 total units has been delivered. The hypercar was first shown as a concept, but the manufacturing version was shown late last year by the American company.
Thus, the first hypercar is painted in Mojave Gold. However, because it lacks airbags, the automobile may only be registered as a show car in the United States. The owner will be limited to driving the Hennessey Venom F5 hypercar no more than 2,500 miles (4,023 km) each year.
The automobile is powered by a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 1,817 horsepower and 1,617 Nm of torque. Hennessey Venom F5 hits 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds in optimum conditions, with all power going to the rear axle. It takes 4.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h and 8.4 seconds to accelerate from 200 to 300 km/h.
Venom F5 was first shown as a concept 4 years ago by Hennessey Performance in the United States. They're now announcing the delivery of the first of 24 units, which have already sold out.
