Official Teaser Of The 2023 Ferrari Purosangue SUV
by AutoExpert | 24 March, 2022
Ferrari has released the first official teaser for the future Purosangue, the company's first SUV, and confirmed that it will debut later this year. The intriguing hint offers us a solid notion of the front-end look. With greater ground clearance, enormous intakes on the front bumper, and a grille design with a narrow strip linking the LED headlamps, Ferrari Purosangue is the tallest vehicle in the lineup.
Black paneling on the wheel arches and side sills, five-spoke rims, a contoured body line, and an aerodynamic roofline characterizes the silhouette. With 296 GTB-inspired taillights with incorporated vents and quad exhaust pipes on the diffuser and skid plate section, the rear is dramatically designed.
Ferrari hasn't revealed any details on the Purosangue's engine, but speculations give us a good sense of what to anticipate. The hybrid powerplant from the 296 GTB, which combines a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 and an electric engine for a total output of 819 horsepower (611 kW / 830 PS), is the most likely option. Another candidate is the 1,000 horsepower (1,014 PS / 746 kW) hybrid twin-turbo V8 from the SF90 Stradale flagship.
All-wheel-drive capabilities should come as standard. Furthermore, a flagship model with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 from the 812 Superfast and Competizione is being discussed, with a potential output of 819 horsepower (610 kW / 830 PS). Ferrari Purosangue will go into production in 2022, with the first deliveries scheduled in 2023.
