Apparently McLaren's new McLaren 675LT Concept aims to synergize the tech and the driver in the same car. JVCKENWOOD concept is named after the company with the same name that provided the CAROPTRONICS system a.k.a. the rear camera and a heads-up display.
The new McLaren 675LT Concept has also replaced the rearview mirrors with cameras that feed into the Digital Rear View Mirror (DRVM) which helps reduce the blind spots and offers a wide FoV. Additionally, the instrument panel was replaced with a digital HUD.
If you take a close look at the steering wheel, you might notice that it has the one that sits on the P1 GTR and it is also equipped with HUD controls.
The interior features carbon black and calypso orange Nappa leather. The new concept is powered by the stock 3.8-liter turbocharged V8 that produces 666 hp.
According to experts, the new 675LT JVCKENWOOD proves that adding technology doesn't necessarily remove the driver from the equation.
