Maserati Ghibli – A Limited Edition With Japanese Street Culture On It
by AutoExpert | 27 June, 2021
The latest collab between Maserati and Hiroshi Fujiwara, owner of Fragment and a legendary cultural trendsetter in street fashion from back in the 80s, comes with an amazing result – Maserati Ghibli – a sports sedan wearing the Granlusso trim. If you want one, you’d better hurry up, as the edition comprises 175 units only.
Hiroshi has strongly influenced the Japanese music industry and was actually the first DJ to bring hip-hop to Japan. Ghibli, also known as Maserati Meets Fragment, gracefully blends Italian design with Japanese perfection, with amazing design elements.
Ghibli was exclusively premiered in Tokyo. The presented cars are called Operbianca and Operaneras, finished in glossy white and matte black, respectively. Each of the 175 cars will run on matte rear wheels, wearing a special badge and a unique grille.
The interior will be embellished in premium sports leather, with Alcantara, finished with silver stitching and dark blue seatbelts.
The limited-edition is signed by the Maserati Fuoriserie customization program. This service focuses on creating distinctive Maserati cars, providing bespoke designs.
