Lada XRAY was officially unveiled!

The AvtoVAZ car manufacturer presented a comprehensive photo gallery with the newest Lada XRAY! Its mass production will start on 15 December 2015, and in the spring, Lada will honor the customers receiving the orders from the Russian Federation.

Shortly after the release Lada sedan Vesta, AvtoVAZ return to the spotlight with a new model. This time it is about the crossover Lada XRAY concept which was previously in the years 2013 and 2014. The car is built on the B0 platform, borrowed from Renault-Nissan alliance, but more than 500 pieces components are authentic Russian!

Among the most important amenities, Lada includes Soft leather steering wheel, exterior mirrors and electrically operated door windows, air conditioning system, parking sensors, and more! Customers will have a choice of three petrol engines, where the base version is a turbo four-cylinder 1.6-liter that develops about 105 horsepower (78kW), followed by the same unit but eventually wheeled around 113 HP (84 kW). The new range is animated by a 1.8-liter engine capable of delivering 121 horsepower (90 kW) and can be switched at the automatic transmission.

In Europe, the sales of the new model will start a few months later, but until then, we have pursued and received EuroNCAP tests. Here engineering plant management is confident in the result of at least three stars. It remains to be seen how the Russian crossover will handle it.
