Jeep Introduces A New Gobi Color Option For The 2022 Wrangler And Gladiator Models
by AutoExpert | 14 March, 2022
The Jeep Wrangler range will soon include the Gobi shade of beige. The hue is returning for the 2022 model year after first appearing on the Gladiator in 2020. “Customization is at the core of both Jeep Gladiator and Jeep Wrangler,” noted Jim Morrison, senior vice president, and general manager of Jeep North America.
The color is named after the Gobi Desert, which includes regions of southern Mongolia and northern China. It joins the range of limited-edition colors including Tuscadero. Jeep said in December that it has expanded the availability of the pink hue because of its enduring popularity.
Morrison commented at the time, “we expected Tuscadero to be popular and the customer response has been overwhelmingly strong.” He added, “it’s so popular, we’re extending production into 2022 model-year to meet strong customer demand.“
Gobi will be up for pre-order from now until June, with an MSRP of $495. All Gladiator and Wrangler models, including the Sport, Sahara, Mojave, Rubicon, 4xe, and 392, can be customized with this color.
