In anticipation of the arrival of the next-generation Honda CR-V, Honda Australia has introduced two limited-run special edition models of the SUV. The CR-V Black Edition is the first. It is built on the CR-V VTi and has a variety of features as standard equipment seen on more expensive versions.
These include heated front seats, 18-inch alloy wheels, Active Cornering Lights, and LED headlights. The inside has also received a few unique additions. These include leather-trimmed front seats with a stitched Black Edition badge, and also piano-black accents on the steering wheel, climate control border, and door handle margins.
Additionally, the center console, dash, and door trims all include wooden elements in a dark hue. The CR-V Black Edition will be offered in either Crystal Black or Platinum White.
The CR-V VTi 7 +Luxe is the second new edition. Based on the CR-V VTi 7, it has several improved options, such as heated front seats, leather-appointed seat trim, and an eight-way power driver's seat with two-position memory. Ignite Red, Cosmic Blue, Lunar Silver, Meteoroid Grey, and Platinum Grey are the possible colours for this new model.
According to Stephen Collins, chief operating officer of Honda Australia, "The CR-V continues to be a popular choice for private buyers in the Medium SUV segment, offering a broad range of equipment and trim levels to cater to the specific needs of customers, across both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, and with five-seat and seven-seat layouts."
Drive-away costs for the Honda CR-V VTi 7 +Luxe begin at AU$43,700 ($30,226), while the Black Edition begins at AU$44,600 ($30,846).
