Holley Redesigns The New Ford F-150 Lightning To Pay Homage To The Original

Fans were unhappy that Ford didn't provide an F-150 Lightning version that was more in line with the company's performance-oriented roots, at least in its design. Holley, a well-known automobile performance firm, appeared to agree, so they decided to visualize the new Lightning to look just like the old one.
The new Ford F-150 Lightning is more forceful than any F-150 to date, both in prior generations of the Lightning, with 563 horsepower (571 PS / 420 kW) and 775 lb-ft (1,051 Nm) of torque. It's also faster than them, with a 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) time of roughly 4.5 secs.
The only suitable arrangement for the Ford F-150 Lightning is a two-door, however, Holley cheated and built its design on a SuperCab with a 6.5-foot bed to avoid going too far from the original 4-door design. The most noticeable changes after that are a widebody kit, reduced suspension, and fresh 20-inch wheels with beefier performance tires.
Upgraded ground-hugging front and rear bumpers, a tailgate ducktail spoiler, and SVT Lightning decals on the bed are also included.
While it's unlikely Ford would ever produce a Lightning like this one in reality, we'd still love to see them do so in the future.
