Ford SuperVan 4.2 Is Revving Up With 1,400 HP To Take On The Pikes Peak Hill Climb

This totally electric marvel is a modified version of its show-stopping predecessor, the 4.0, which dazzled viewers at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed. It is born from the prestigious lineage of high-performance automobiles.

Despite losing one of its electric motors, the SuperVan 4.2 is nonetheless as tough as ever. The new all-wheel-drive system consists of a single front engine and two rear motors. The battery uses Li-polymer NMC pouch cells supplied by STARD, and it is capable of 600 kW of regeneration.
A modernized regenerative braking system with carbon-ceramic brake discs is another characteristic of the SuperVan 4.2. It's also worth mentioning that the racer is painted in Ford's new Performance blue, orange, and purple color scheme and sits on forged magnesium wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires.
