Ferrari Celebrates 75 Years Of Success With A New Logo
by AutoExpert | 29 December, 2021
Ferrari is debuting a 75th-anniversary logo to celebrate Enzo Ferrari's founding of the company in 1947. While his first vehicle was a 1940 Auto Avio Costruzioni 815, the 125 S race car, released 7 years later, was the world's first Ferrari-badged model.
2022 will be a big year for Ferrari's road and racing divisions. People are becoming more and more interested in high-end SUVs, so the Purosangue will be released to take advantage of that. Scuderia Ferrari, on the other hand, hopes that its next Formula 1 car will finally be able to compete again and fight Mercedes and Red Bull under the new rules.
A convertible version of the 296 GTB will also be available next year, with the GTS designation but keeping the coupe's plug-in hybrid V6 powerplant. As a join to the Monza SP1 and SP2 speedsters, as well as the newly released Daytona SP3, more Icona models are on the way.
On the racing front, Ferrari has entered the Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) program for 2023. A LaFerrari replacement should ideally come from the race vehicle that will participate in the FIA World Endurance Championship's new top class.
