Vanderhall, best known for its Carmel and Venice three-wheelers, has unveiled the price and more precise specs for the Brawley, its latest model. The non-street-legal, off-road-focused EV begins at $34,950, including delivery and prep fees, and bookings for the 2022 Model Year are now being taken.

Vanderhall's first off-roader, dubbed Navarro at the time, was teased back in 2020. The Brawley name was announced officially earlier this year. Vanderhall also released a series of new digitally generated photos of the model in addition to the pricing news.

Brawley

Brawley is 147.5 inches (3.75 m) long, 76 inches (1.93 m) wide, and 69.5 inches (1.76 m) tall, with a 112.5-inch wheelbase (2.86 m). The look is reminiscent of a future Jeep Wrangler merged with a Halo Warthog. Brawley shines in off-road settings thanks to its nearly non-existent overhangs, enormous 35-inch tires, 22-inch suspension travel, and 18-inch (0.46 m) ground clearance.

Brawley

The flagship variant's four electric engines generate a combined 404 hp (410 PS / 301 kW) and 480 lb-ft (651 Nm) of torque, allowing the wheels to drive freely in any direction. As a result, the driver has access to low-speed off-road modes including eCrab, eSteer, eTank, and eCrawl, which are similar to those given by the GMC Hummer and Rivian R1T.

Brawley

The business will provide 40 kWh and 60 kWh battery modules with a sophisticated battery conditioning technology that extends cold weather range and boosts battery longevity. According to the company, Brawley will have a range of up to 200 miles (322 km). The battery will restore 80% of its energy in under an hour when charged using a DC fast charger.

Brawley

The cockpit is modest, as one might expect from an off-roader, but it looks fabulous owing to the four individual seats, leather upholstery, huge glass surfaces for optimal viewing angles, and a minimalist dashboard. A glove box, heater, air-con, heated seats, an extra sky roof, and a Bluetooth Kicker sound system round out the features. Because this isn't a street-legal car, don't anticipate airbags, however, Vanderhall mentions potential ViDAR system capabilities. Vanhedhall is taking bookings for the Brawley, with a $100 deposit.
