Don’t Use Fake Wheels or This Can Happen to You.

The wheels are an essential part of the aesthetics of a car. Everyone wants to have those genuine gorgeous brand name wheels. Unfortunately, they are pretty expensive, and some people tried to cheat their way to expensive car look.

But they are forgetting about an important aspect of buying fake products, fakes are dangerous. A team of researchers from Mercedes Benz Australia decided to test the genuine and fake wheels in real-life situations.

They ordered fakes from an online store and fitted them on a CLA and then tested them in special placed potholes. A high-speed camera clearly shows how pieces of fake wheels break apart and fly off when the wheel hits the pothole edge.

This same test but with genuine wheels don't show the same results. The experiment was conducted a few times to ensure consistency.
