Donkervoort D8 GTO Individual Series is the last and most ferocious open-wheeled sports vehicle produced by the Dutch manufacturer. It will be the final road-going scream for the eight-year-old D8 GTO and is characterized by the increased customization possibilities it will give owners.

It has the same Audi-derived turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder motor as the regular D8 GTO, but Abt Sportsline has increased output to 429-hp, which is renowned for its ultra interpretations on Audi's RS-badged performance vehicles. Enhanced cooling, upgraded fuel injectors, and a custom ECU tune are among the highlights of the car.

Donkervoort hasn't provided exact performance statistics, but slight gains over the 415-hp D8 GTO-JD70 it replaces are anticipated, with a 0-62 mph time of about 2.6 secs and a max speed at about 180mph.

The Individual Series is 7 mph quicker than the JD70 towards the end of the Kemmel Straight at the Spa-Francorchamps track, shaving 1.4 secs off the lap time.

The nose-cone flaps, air scoops, and vents have all been eliminated, and the brand's emblem has been relocated from the nose to the grille for the Individual Series.

More importantly, Donkervoort promises "complete customer flexibility" with the final-edition D8 GTO. The basic vehicle starts at €162,900 (£140,000) before taxes, but with a slew of additional choices and services, it can be customized to suit the requirements of the user.

The business can manufacture custom parts for the vehicle, provide matching baggage and clothes, trim the seats in whatever material the owner desires, and even allow the owner to imagine their outside color. Reversing cameras and parking sensors are included as standard features on Donkervoort D8 GTO.

The completed D8 GTO's bodywork has Tarox wave-form brake discs all around and a Bosch anti-lock system for track usage. A quicker steering rack, a six-speed sequential transmission, and a variety of suspension modifications are also offered.
