Cupra Is Entering The North American Market By 2030

Some good news has come out of SEAT's annual press conference, and it's for our American friends. The 2018-launched Cupra brand, in particular, plans to join the North American market by the decade's end.
An all-electric Formentor, perhaps based on the next generation, is in the works. By 2030, the current crossover will have significantly evolved, given its mere four-year age.
SEAT has announced that the current model will be getting a redesign in the next few weeks, specifically for the European market. The focus here is on the US market for the next-generation Formentor.
North America will be the assembly location for a bigger electric SUV that is expected to be sold in the United States. SEAT will manufacture the unidentified model in Mexico and offer it in certain states on the east and west coastlines, as well as those in the Sun Belt.
SEAT and Cupra CEO Wayne Griffiths said they would offer these vehicles through a new distribution model without providing any specifics.
