Citroen DS line brings its first SUV

The new Citroen DS line 6WR becomes the first SUV from the original DS and is intended only for the Chinese market. The model will be introduced at the Auto Show in Beijing and become a direct competitor to Mercedes-Benz GLK, BMW X3, and Audi Q5.
The new Citroen DS is inspired aesthetic 6WR Wild Rubis solid concept that Citroen unveiled last year at the Beijing Auto Salon the same. Regarding the design is a model that fits right in line with DS, the creators of Citroen full use of chrome and soft lines to highlight their premium character of the SUV, but 6WR DS chapter is based solely on engine petrol units.
We are talking about a 1.6 THP 160 e-horsepower and a 200 hp version of the same motor, both coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. Drive traction is not offered even as an optional element in the DS 6WR, but Citroen promises Grip Control - a system that optimizes drivability at the front wheels depending on road surface - is an element that can help more the customers for such a model, for mainly urban areas.
The Citroen DS 6WR will be produced at Shenzen in China and to the European market availability Citroen remains to announce.
