The new Cadillac XT5 is the current successor of the SRX. Behold recently it was caught without camouflage, a year before the official premiere!
The Americans from Cadillac are preparing a new generation of the current SRX. It will compete with the Audi Q5, BMW X3, and the new Mercedes-Benz GLC. With the new generation, the manufacturer decided to change the name, it will be called XT5, and due to be launched in 2016.
Even if there is some time until the official launch, reporters managed to surprise it without camouflage. From the pictures, we can see that the car adopts a brand new design and will be slightly larger than the current SRX. At the moment the powertrain is not known nor are many details but is clear that under the hood will find a 2-liter gas engine, aspirated by 265 hp turbo and a V6 and 335 hp 3.6 l volume!
No way to know about any hybrid version but more about engines and performance we will find out later!
