Bugatti's Custom Division Makes Its Debut With The Vintage Chiron Pur Sport

Bugatti dealerships don't allow customers to purchase their Chirons in the exact specifications they want. Now that the Molsheim-based company has launched a customized branch, that shouldn't be a problem for wealthy consumers. "Sur Mesure" (French for "tailored") lays the path for even more customizable W16 hypercars in the future.
Only 40 instances of the quad-turbo monster are still available, and only in either the Pur Sport or Super Sport configuration. This retro-styled one-of-a-kind machine is based on the previous and is inspired by Louis Chiron and Achille Varzi's Type 51 racing car, which won the French Grand Prix in 1931.
The Chiron Pur Sport by Sur Measure, like its forerunner, sports the "32" number, which is totally hand-painted. It's one of several options in Bugatti's high-end customization program, which also includes a hand-applied fading "EB" painted motif and two new body colors inspired by famous racing cars from the 1920s and 1930s.
Inside, the door cards have a sophisticated multi-layered embroidered "EB" design, and the sills proclaim "Grand Prix" in red to complement the stitching and piping. The incorporated headrests feature "32" emblems embroidered in the same color, and the center console has a black anodized aluminum inlay with a hand-painted silver lettering. The price of this automobile has not been revealed by Bugatti.
Furthermore, Bugatti promises one-on-one assistance for individuals who want to go one step further and obtain a really unique vehicle through the full customization process.
