BMW M Series Has a New MotoGP Safety Car Family

When you want a safe BMW the brand’s M Division is ready to provide a MotoGP, since 1999. This year comes with other surprises – three new bikes and a bike. 2021 M3 Sedan, M4 Coupe, and M5 CJ, and the M 1000 RR safety bike, are sporting new attire and emergency lights.
The debut will happen on March, 28 and will be celebrated at the season opener in Qatar. The fleet will attend the Portugal Grand Prix scheduled on April 18. The M8 Competition Coupe and M8 Competition Gran Coupe safety cars. X5 M medical car and another M1000 RR will join the competition.
The trio feature flashing front lights, light bars, motorsport quick release nonet latches, and emergency power shutoffs. Both, the M3 and M4 share the same modified exhaust systems, and a rear seat removed from the two-door model replaced with a roll bar and four-point harnesses. The exterior color is an artwork, and variates from Frozen Grey Dark metallic for the M3 Competition, Sao Paolo Yellow for the M4 Competition, and a Frozen Deep Green Metallic for the M5 CS
These three safety cars deliver outstanding performance and driving dynamics and match perfectly the MotoGP spotlight. Joining the first M model on two wheels is a true honor. The fleet will perform the exact requirements on the Qatar racetrack.
