Aston Martin Valkyrie Meets Its First Client
by AutoExpert | 4 November, 2021
Aston Martin Valkyrie is now in full production, with the first client car built and ready for delivery. Tobias Moers, the CEO of Aston Martin, stated earlier this year that his company will get to the end of the stage by the second half of this year.
His forecast came true, as Aston Martin Valkyrie is already in production, with the first of 150 road cars expected to be delivered to customers in the following weeks.
The AMRB-001 concept, which later evolved into the Valkyrie, was originally shown in 2016, and revised show models have been arriving steadily since then. In 2019, before the British Grand Prix, a prototype car circled Silverstone, making the car's first dynamic grand entrance.
Aston Martin Valkyrie is the company's notion of the greatest road automobile. Valkyrie will deliver up to 1816 kg (4000 lbs) of downforce at high speeds, thanks to a 1000 hp naturally aspirated Cosworth V12 that will rev to 11,100 rpm and a hybrid system.
More Valkyrie variants are also in the works. Valkyrie Roadster will be released next year, and shipments of the 40 track-only Valkyrie AMR Pros will start at the end of this year.
