Alpina's new D4 S Gran Coupe has just been unveiled. 355 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque come from a 3.0-liter diesel engine. The ZF automatic tranny is paired with the twin-turbo motor.
There is no difference in terms of appearance between this model and that of the newly-redesigned BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. 20-inch wheels, aerodynamic features, and Alpine Blue or Alpina Green paint jobs will be familiar to anyone who has driven an Alpina.
The new Alpina D4 S Gran Coupe has a top speed of 168 mph and can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 4.8 seconds. A heated steering wheel and heated seats are standard features in the Alpina-fitted BMWs. Lavalina leather upholstery is an available option for customers who want to enhance the interior.
Among other things, the BMW's safety features include cross-traffic alerts, lane-change warnings, and other options. Alpina D4 S Gran Coupe is currently available for order. Alpina anticipates starting deliveries in September, with a base price of $83,809.
