AirCar Proves It's Time To Make A Flying Car A Reality
by AutoExpert | 24 January, 2022
Years ago, the concept of a flying automobile sounded like something out of science fiction. There have been several efforts since that time, but no business has been capable of delivering a mass-produced version. Currently, manufacturers from all around the world are attempting to develop car-sized flying cars, but Klein Vision's AirCar, on the other hand, is unlike anything else.
The AirCar first flew in late 2020, and the firm has been steadily progressing toward manufacturing since then.
Now, the Slovak Transport Authority has issued them an Airworthiness Certificate. The certification process for the flying automobile required more than 70 hours of testing, and it wasn't easy.
The AirCar, which is powered by a 140-hp 1.6-liter four-cylinder BMW engine, can perform important aerial tricks. Klein Vision may be the only business that is this close to putting an actual flying automobile into production.
The public version is expected to have a range of up to 1,000 km (621 miles). Great to see how well it performs in the air.
