Acura has just announced that beginning on October 6 at 10:00 a.m. PT, customers will be able to place orders for one of only 300 limited 2023 TLX Type S PMC Editions. It is the first time that the PMC Edition Acura was available in more than one color.

A total of 100 Curva Red TLX Type S PMC Editions will be produced, and Acura said that they will only accept preorders for those 100 vehicles. After that, on November 9, it will begin accepting orders for the 100 units that have been done in 130R White. The special edition's final 100 Long Beach Blue units will go on sale on December 8.

The roof, antenna, and door handles of the model are all painted with Berlina Black, which stands out against the bright colours and careful design. The 20-inch Y-spoke alloy wheels with an NSX design inspiration will come standard on all of the vehicles. New copper paint has been applied for the first time on the Acura, and it looks great. Gloss carbon fiber accents like the deck lid spoiler, and lower-side sill garnish complete the look.

Inside, the TLX Type S PMC Edition maintains its carbon fiber trim characteristics, which are complemented by lighted side sills and luxury floor mats branded with the Type S logo. Inside the Curva Red cars is an Ebony cabin with red contrast stitching. The cars painted 130R white have a special Red interior, while the ones painted Long Beach blue have an Orchid interior with blue contrast stitching.

Each TLX Type S PMC model undergoes the same rigorous pre-delivery testing as the NSX, including a dyno check, paint inspection, and rough-road simulation. Before it leaves the factory, each car is covered with a cover made just for it, and it travels to the dealer in its own enclosed carrier.
