2022 Lexus LC Hokkaido Edition Has Been Unveiled For European Customers With A Host Of Great Design Details
by AutoExpert | 15 March, 2022
The Hokkaido Edition of the LC was unveiled by Lexus in Europe. Hokkaido island, a premium holiday destination in Japan known for its volcanoes, geysers, and gorgeous landscapes, is the inspiration for the new special edition.
Convertible and coupe body styles are both offered for the all-new Lexus LC Hokkaido. The 21-inch alloy wheels, a dark grille, and a set of afterburner-style taillights separate it aesthetically. Flare Red, Sonic Platinum, F White, and Graphite are the only color options, and the LC Convertible comes with either a black or red cloth soft top.
A duo-tone approach with deep red and black hues may be seen on the inside. The color scheme was influenced by the volcanic environment of Hokkaido, and a numbered plaque serves as a visual cue to the car's rarity.
A hybrid V6 or a V8 motor will be available for the Lexus LC Hokkaido, exactly like the standard LC. The LC 500h has a 3.5-liter V6 engine and two electric motors that provide 354 horsepower (264 kW/359 PS) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. The LC 500 has a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 471 horsepower (351 kW/477 PS) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque.
For 2022, Lexus LC Hokkaido Edition will be restricted to 40 coupes and 40 convertibles, all of which will be sold exclusively to European buyers. The first European sales will begin in April 2022.
