2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E Gets A Boost In Range
by AutoExpert | 21 December, 2021
Following a leak of an ordering guide in September, the Mustang Mach-E has undergone several changes for the 2022 model year. The order books for the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E have been opened in the United States, as well as revealing the price information.
For Premium vehicles, this means the introduction of the new Ice White Appearance Package. 19-inch aluminum wheels with Oxford White-painted pockets, Star White mirror caps, Star White Metallic Tri-Coat paint, Star White wheel-lip moldings, OxFord White front door badging, and Oxford White pony badges are all included with this package.
The gloss white leather on the dashboard, seats, door panels, center armrest, and the pony emblem on the steering wheel continue the distinctive touches throughout the cabin. The battery capacity of all models has also been enhanced by Ford. Models with the typical range battery originally had a usable capacity of 68 kWh, however, that has been upgraded to 70 kWh in 2022.
Furthermore, extended range versions' usable capacity has increased from 88 to 91 kWh. The carmaker hasn't said how much extra range consumers would get as a consequence, although sources say it will be roughly 5-10 miles. A black-painted top is now standard on GT and GT Performance Edition models of the Mustang Mach-E California Route 1, and heated seats and steering wheel are now included on the Mustang Mach-E California Route 1.
Iced Blue Silver Metallic is now available in a new hue, while Grabber Blue Metallic and Cyber Orange Metallic Tri-Coat are now offered across the lineup. The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E has a starting price of $44,995 for the Select RWD Standard Range, including a $1,100 destination fee, and a peak price of $69,095 for the GT Performance AWD Extended Range.
