2021 Honda Odyssey Refresh in Japan Has A New Face and Gesture-Control Door

The Japanese market gave the Honda Odyssey minivan a fresh face, updated cabin, and some new tech. Compared to the American version, it’s a bit smaller.
The Odyssey strikes with a new, much blunter front, new grille features, an array of horizontal bars, and LED headlights in the upper corners. The rear is refreshed with new taillights with a chunky appearance and a chrome bar running the width of the hatchback.
The coolest feature is a hatchback and a power-sliding side door a gesture-controlled as standard equipment. The occupants just need to wave a hand in front of the sensor for the door to open, useful when your hands are full.
There’s also a feature for passengers with mobility issues - a press of a button, one seat extends out of the vehicle and comes to rest at a low position.
